Bayles News and Views Around Our School

Our faculty and staff function very much like a family. We are very proud of the things taking place at Bayles and would love to share some of our favorite moments with you.

Meet Rocky, the rabbit.

Rocky's first time in the courtyard.

He loves to have his head rubbed between the ears.

There are a lot of volunteers to hold Rocky.

The students created a mosaic in the hall from small pieces of tile. They sketched the design, broke up small pieces of tile, glued each piece in place, and then mortared it all together. This student is doing the next to the last step of scrapping off excess mortar. We will seal the entire project to protect this fabulous work of art! Don't you just love it!

Reading is a high priority item at Bayles. Everyone reads for fun everyday. We currently use a computer program called the Accelerated Reader. The students in grades 1-6 accumulate points by taking short comprehension tests on the books as they finish them. It is a race to see which class can read the most.

OUR STUDENTS ARE CONSTANTLY CHALLENGED WITH A VARIETY OF EXCITING CLASSES.
